Whether you are looking for a special way to open an event with a musical Acknowledgement of Country or looking to collaborate & create a new, sincere & warm Acknowledgement of Country, Waveney offers workshops & cultural protocol/sensitivity consultations. She has worked in remote communities mentoring the next generation of Indigenous leaders, & has continued to mentor boarding students in Brisbane & through her work as an ambassador at Beyond the Broncos reaching hundreds of students across Queensland & New South Wales.

Through her music Waveney creates a sense of ceremony, her groundedness at the centre of her work. Her Ackonwledgement of Country is unique, poignant & thought provoking & is a perfect example of what it means to honour Country in a personal & authentic way.
Workshop - Original Acknowledgement of Country
Combining her strengths Waveney provides a 60 or 90 minute workshop that runs through cultural protocol, the importance of listening & Acknowledgeing Country. She has worked with executives & students alike to create Acknowledgement of Country songs that are used on podcasts, school events & within the workplace to celebrate & honour the history of Ancient Australia.
Consulting
Waveney has worked in remote communities, closely with language experts & supporting young Indigenous people around Australia.
Performing & mentoring in community has equipped her with unique experience & vocabulary which she shares to empower organisations, schools & philanthropists who are ready to upskill or begin their journey in cultural learning.
Composition
Waveney is a gifted composer. Her musical genius has contributed to the success of Children's Theatre, Choir arrangements, Award winning albums & several new Acknowledgements of Country across Queensland. She has written music for theatre, film, dance & projects such as Fancy Long Legs & Our Backyard which has wowed audience since it's seasons opening.
